ABOUT ME: Mike's passion for food began as a child, watching his Italian grandmother make classic Italian cuisine in her New York home. Using fresh produce grown by his grandfather, the food was always fresh and always delicious! After college Mike made his way into the restaurant business and quickly moved through the kitchen ranks. Learning from some very talented chefs, Mike especially enjoyed his time with acclaimed chef Debra Ponzek. As a Head Chef for nearly nine years, Mike excelled in the culinary field and even had some of his creations featured on the LA News. But, even more gratifying than having his food featured on TV, Mike's proudest moment was returning to New York to cook for his grandmother in the same kitchen he grew up watching her cook. Mike's background ranges from fine dining to casual and high volume to small scale He has worked with contemporary American Cuisine, Seafood and Italian. Always learning and growing, he loves to try new food and experiment in the Kitchen. Mike hopes you enjoy his creations and loves to hear from his followers.
