ABOUT ME: Maxwell Sherod is a young chef from Huntington Beach, California, growing up here in Orange County and recently graduated from Orange Coast College's world famous Culinary Arts program. Since he was old enough to peek over the kitchen counter, he has always had a passion for cooking. Much of his culinary inspiration comes from his late grandmother's home-style, Southern cooking to which Max now gives a modern twist.
For Max, food is what brings people together and he strongly believes that sharing a good meal with someone is the fastest way to bond with them. Max hopes his dishes will give you a memory that you will always cherish with someone you love!

In his spare time Max enjoys reading mystery novels, listening to folk, punk, and rock music and trying out new restaurants and food to get ideas for his own cooking. Max also enjoys taking long drives down the coast and having bonfires and barbecues with friends.
