Chef Gisella was born in Italy and immigrated to the U.S. in 1967. She was raised with the Italian traditions and standards of cooking that everything was made from scratch. Gisella’s favorite memories growing up were Sundays after church, when her Mom would make a fresh batch of sauce and homemade bread.
After college, she moved to California where her passion for cooking blossomed while raising her own family with these same family food traditions. continuing her commitment to her craft. Desiring to continue her commitment to her craft, once her children went off to college, she attended Culinary School and received her Culinary and Pastry Certificates through Orange Coast College, launching her culinary career. Working at the St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort and the Honda Center’s Premium Food, gave Chef Gisella valuable professional knowledge and honed her skills. She stays true to her Italian roots and continues to make everything from scratch with the love and passion that makes a truly great Italian chef.
